Horses 101
June 7-9 from 9-4
$225
First step for young horseman. Horses 101 –
Want to know the IN’s and OUT’s of horses and what it means to own a horse?? Horses 101 involve riders “having” their own horse for 3 days. They will be in charge of mucking out stalls, feeding and watering their horse, cleaning tack, and grooming and bathing their horse. Riders will participate in practical horse
activities and horse crafts; learn about breeds of horses, colors,
markings, parts of the horse, and other practical horse
information. Oh, and don’t forget - they will be lunging, riding
twice a day, and getting involved with fun games while on and off
the horse. The camp is aimed at begining and intermediate riders, ages 6-12.

“Be patient with me horse, I do not have all of the answers yet, I will not
blame you for making mistakes, I know it is my job to be your teacher and
your guide. I can count on your honest input each day, knowing that as I
make the change in myself I will also see the change in you.”~ Barb Gerbitz
